This procedure involves two steps. First, fat is suctioned from a donor site, usually abdomen or hip rolls. Then it is injected into the buttocks using the syringe technique.  One benefit to this procedure is it allows concurrent thinning of one area to supply fat for enhancement of another area.  Also since the fat is the patient’s own tissue this operation has fewer complications than other buttocks augmentation modalities.
